Facebook Watch: Watch Live Shows On Facebook Watch – Facebook has just brought in a new method of streaming for folks in a bid to make the social media more appealing and interactive to users.
Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook chief executive and his team has noticed that Watching video on Facebook which is discovered through friends has the incredible power to connect people, spark conversation, and foster the community.
Currently publishers from Condé Nast to Hearst are launching shows called “Virtually Dating” on Facebook’s new video platform known as Facebook Watch, to them, they are trying to replicate the success of short, viral videos locally made.

While this new platform appears to be fairly similar to YouTube, which has its own strong user base of 1.3 billion, Facebook’s approach to attract users is a bit different from that of YouTube.
Facebook users will be able to personalize their feeds and follow shows they like using the “Watch” much like YouTube’s channel subscription model.
